Many people think those with learning disabilities are destined to struggle for their entire life. But clients who have completed the NOW! Programs® know that’s not true! Effective for all ages, our tutors for learning difficulties provide evidence-based instruction that has been proven effective in 15 years of randomized, controlled trials research. Our programs address learning differences and enhance language skills, usually achieving a dramatic improvement in reading level in just a few months. Using this highly effective program, our learning disability tutoring empowers learners to reach their full educational potential with no limits and endless possibilities.
NOW! Programs® tackle the causes of learning disabilities, which are weaknesses in thinking or processing skills in the following areas:
- Phonological processing
- Visual working memory
- Auditory working memory
- Sequencing number, letters, and/or ideas
- Verbal memory
- Mental imagery
Our tutoring for learning difficulties first improves the basic skills, then goes to work on the more advanced academic skills like reading, spelling, writing, comprehension, math, problem solving, and reasoning.
Effective Tutors for
A learning disability tutor is often the fastest, easiest way to help a child who is struggling. But where do you start? For many parents, there are an endless list of questions to ask. What methods will be used? How do we choose the right tutor? Will it work?
As stated previously, the evidence-based NOW! Programs® have been proven to work to improve reading and language skills in 15 years of clinical research. This research has repeatedly shown that improvements in reading, spelling and academic skills continue even after instruction has ended. NOW! Programs® students excel, after other programs fail to help them make large improvements, because our learning disability tutors are supported by a quality control team. The NOW! Programs®’ Quality Control team (QC) has decades of experience monitoring our students’ progress (via our proprietary progress tracker data system), mentoring our tutors, and providing them with ongoing professional development. When you enroll in NOW! Programs®, you are hiring a team of experts, including brain scientist Dr. Tim Conway, Chief Clinical Operations Officer Dr. Robin Edge, plus the QC team and the instructors. Together, the NOW! Programs® team diligently and passionately works to help each student make the maximum progress, as efficiently and as effectively as possible. Why hire one dyslexia tutor and hope they might be effective, when for the same or a lower hourly rate you can hire a team of professionals with more than a decade of proven success?
But if you’re still not convinced, just listen to some of the many satisfied parents who have seen remarkable, long-lasting improvements in their child, teenager, college student or spouse’s ability to learn and achieve academic success.
Where to Find NOW! Programs Tutoring for Learning Differences
Our programs are offered not only in transdisciplinary clinics (like The Morris Center clinics in FL, AL, Trinidad and Tobago) and in schools that partner with the NOW! Programs® for our effective push-in services, but also in the comfort of your own home. Our online tutors for learning difficulties allow students of all ages and their families to get the support and services they need at their convenience. Students can still attend their regular school and participate in social activities and other obligations.
Teachers and educators can work one-on-one or in small groups to provide programs to your students according to their schedules. Appointments can be scheduled with our tutors for learning difficulties in the morning before school, as part of students’ language arts curriculum in the afternoons, or after their regular school day. All you need is a desktop or laptop computer with webcam, speakers and high speed internet access.
Your Options for
We offer interactive, engaging, individualized online tutoring for those struggling with dyslexia and other learning problems in one-to-one or small-group sessions. One-on-one learning difference tutoring is just $85 per session. Rates for small-group instruction with two students are just $50 per session. Larger groups of 3 to 4 students are $30 per session. These rates are far lower than standard academic tutoring services of $95, $100, or $125 per hour, that may make progress, but don’t “close the gap” and remediate learning disabilities by changing weaker skills into new strengths. This is precisely what NOW! Programs® for dyslexia do: create new strengths in reading accuracy, reading fluency or reading comprehension.
